Mary Ellen--Business Coordinator

Mary Ellen joined our office in 2009, bringing a wealth of experience from her 27 years spent in the dental field. In those years since her time at Erie Community College, she has functioned as a dental assistant and a member of the front office personnel, capably handling both the treatment and business aspects of the dental office. Mary Ellen enjoys working with Dr. DeRose, whose warmth and focus on each patient inspires our staff to the same. She believes the relaxed atmosphere here in our practice’s historic structure helps patients feel at ease and at home when they visit us for treatment.

Mary Ellen and her husband live with their three children in a nearby suburb of Buffalo. When she’s not working or attending to family functions, Mary Ellen loves to paint and become immersed in do-it-yourself projects.

Rose--Dental Hygienist

Rose came to us in 2008 after earning a bachelor degree in biomedical sciences from the University at Buffalo, and an associate degree from Erie Community College. She loves meeting and assisting our patients and appreciates the amount of time Dr. DeRose allots for each one. Never rushed during a visit, Rose addresses our patients’ need for undivided attention and care. She knows that we make a positive impact on their day, health, and lives.

Lidiya—Dental Assistant

Lidiya joined our office in 2009, bringing to our team nearly a decade of experience in the medical field. She loves that our staff is so closely connected and always eager to serve our patients with warmth and dental expertise. Making people smile and seeing the difference we can make through dentistry is why Lidiya loves what she does.

Originally from Belarus, Lidiya’s family eventually moved to New York, first to Brooklyn and then to their current home in East Amherst. When Lidiya’s not assisting Dr. DeRose in the office or attending classes from SUNY at Buffalo, she enjoys playing badminton, sand volleyball, tennis, and golf.

Lisa--Business Coordinator Consultant

Lisa already had nearly a decade of experience upon joining our team in 2003. She explores financial options and treatment plans with our patients, making sure their dental care stays affordable. Along with the office staff, Lisa attends several seminars each year to keep up to date on the latest techniques and procedures relating to her job. She loves the practice’s close, personal environment that affords us the opportunity to focus on each patient. Lisa will continue to work with us as a consultant while she pursues a new interest in real estate.

When she’s not at the office, Lisa enjoys playing tennis and squash.
