About Peter D. DeRose, DDS, MBA

A Buffalo native, Dr. DeRose began his career by practicing dentistry with his father. After receiving a BS from Trinity College, a DDS from SUNY at Buffalo School of Medicine, and an MBA from Canisius College, he was ready to take over the practice from his father, who retired soon after. Dr. DeRose is committed to maintaining the tradition of comfort, concern, and care for patients, but he also implements the newest advances in technology and the most up-to-date procedures. His goal in combining the two has always been to deliver the highest quality dentistry.

Respected by his peers as a leading authority on pain management relating to TMJ and associated conditions, Dr. DeRose has been contracted as an expert in TMJ injuries and issues. He is certified in occlusion and TMJ disorders from the Piper Education and Research Center and the Dawson center for Advanced Dental Study. In addition, he is a certified provider of Invisalign; he is experienced in the preparation and placement of Lumineers and has extensive postgraduate training in comprehensive smile design and esthetic dentistry.

Because of his desire to continue offering the best care, Dr. DeRose stays active in the professional dental community through his membership in the American Dental Association (ADA), the New York State Dental Association (NYSDA), the Eighth District Dental Association, and the Academy of General Dentistry.

Dr. DeRose is a two-time US National Champion in Doubles Squash and also a winner of a World Doubles Squash Championship. He is also an avid tennis player and golfer. Dr. DeRose believes in giving back to the community that gave him so much, so he is a coach for local junior and high school squash players. He is past president of his local Tennis and Squash Club and serves as a board member of an area Historic Preservation Society.

Dr. DeRose currently resides in Buffalo, New York and has two beautiful daughters in grammar school. When the girls are not in school, they enjoy dance, squash, and tennis.
